Fades, cut properly.
A fade is only as good as the barber holding the clippers. We cut every kind: low, mid, high, skin, drop, burst, taper. Come in with a picture, or just point to your head and tell us how you like it.

What we cut
The four main fades.
The name of the fade refers to where the shortest point sits on your head. The rest is about how gradual or sharp you want the transition.
- Low fade. the taper starts just above the ears. Subtle, professional, works with any hair length on top.
- Mid fade. the taper starts around the temples. The most-asked-for fade. Balanced, clean, versatile.
- High fade. the skin or short zone runs almost to the top of the head. Bold and modern. Works best with texture on top.
- Skin fade. the transition goes all the way down to the skin at the bottom. Sharpest look. Can be paired with low, mid, or high.
We also cut drop fades, burst fades, temp fades, and taper fades. If you know the name, bring it in. If you do not, bring a photo.
How it goes
What a fade appointment looks like.
A fade takes us about 30 to 45 minutes depending on how detailed you want the top. Here is how it usually goes:
- Sit down, tell us what you want. Bring a picture or just describe it.
- We block in the fade with clippers, working from the shortest section outward.
- Scissor work on top if the length calls for it.
- Line-up with the trimmer, edges and neckline cleaned up.
- Hot towel finish if you want it, then a look in the mirror to make sure it is right.

Not sure what to ask for?
Bring a picture. Every barber here would rather see one photo than parse a description. Instagram screenshots, saved images, your friend's cut, whatever. We will match it or tell you honestly what will and will not work with your hair type.
Common combinations we cut all week:
- Low fade with a longer textured top
- Mid skin fade with a beard sculpt
- High fade with a hard part
- Taper fade with a comb-over
- Drop fade with curls left long on top
