Before you come in.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome six days a week during our regular hours. If you want a specific time or a specific chair, booking online at Square holds the slot without charging you. You pay in cash after the cut either way.
Are you really cash only?
Yes. Cash only in the shop, and there is an ATM inside if you forgot to stop by the bank. A card is only required if you book online, and even then you are not charged until you sit down.
How much does a cut cost?
Prices are set at the chair so you can talk through what you actually want before we start. Cuts, beards, hot towel shaves and kids cuts are all listed on our services page.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes, from about age three on up. We have a small mascot who has been coming since he was a toddler, and we know how to keep a first cut calm. Bring a favorite toy if it helps. More on kids cuts.
What if I am running late for my appointment?
Text the shop at (984) 329-0762. If you are more than about ten minutes late without a heads up we may have to slide you into the next open slot, but a quick text almost always keeps your chair.
How long will I wait as a walk-in?
Most weekdays the wait is short. Saturday mornings and after school on weekdays fill up fastest, so if you have a hard stop it is worth booking. When you walk in we tell you the honest wait and you can decide.
Where are you and where do I park?
110 Bratton Drive, Suite 104, Garner, NC 27529. Free parking sits right out front in the strip lot. Look for the red awning and the two barber poles painted across the glass. About fifteen minutes from Clayton, ten from South Raleigh, and just off Timber Drive from I-40.
Do you do hot towel shaves?
Yes. Straight razor, hot lather, hot towels. Book it or ask when you walk in. More on hot towel shaves.
