The service
What a hot towel shave includes.
This is not a beard trim with a hot towel afterward. It is a full straight razor shave, done the traditional way.
- Steam hot towel wrapped around the face to soften the skin and hair.
- Hot lather applied with a brush, worked in until it foams up thick.
- Straight razor pass with the grain, then a second pass against the grain if you want it closer.
- Cold towel to close the pores and cool the skin.
- Aftershave balm to finish. Neutral scent unless you ask for something specific.
Takes about 30 minutes. Time you will not regret spending.
Who it is for
Not just a special occasion.
People think a hot towel shave is only for weddings or a birthday treat. It is a great regular service. If you shave every day with a cartridge razor and your neck is a mess of ingrown hairs and bumps, a proper razor shave every couple of weeks fixes that.
We also do this for guys with beards who just want the cheeks and neck cleaned up razor-smooth while keeping the beard.

Not ready for a full shave? We also do beard sculpts and lineups. Shears, trimmer, and razor work to shape the beard, clean the neckline, and give you sharp edges without taking any real length off.
Combine it with a haircut and you leave with the whole look pulled together.

Is a hot towel shave good for my skin?
For most people, yes. It is gentler than daily cartridge shaving if you are being cut by an experienced hand. If you have very sensitive skin or a specific condition, tell us before we start.
Can I combine a shave with a haircut?
Yes. Book them together or ask at the chair. Both in one visit is a common combination.
Do you shave heads?
Yes. Full head shaves are welcome. Same process as a face shave, just more real estate.
